Floral Bend

Description

Own or gift one of our floral bends to bring a little bit of spring into the home.

The waves are self standing as due to the way they have been made. They are created using a mixture of glass paints and frit, this is fired at a lower temperature, this keeps some texture in the piece so its not just flat glass. Once it has had the initial firing it goes back in the kiln on a mould, the glass is heated up again just to the point where it becomes soft, this along with gravity form the glass into its final shape.

The waves are available in 9 designs. Note the height varies this is to suit the design:

Bluebell bend: blue transparent frit for the flower heads, approximately 12cm wide and 11cm high
Poppy bend: red transparent frit for the flower heads, approximately 12cm wide and 11cm high
Snowdrop bend: white paint and white frit for the flower heads, approximately 12cm wide and 11cm high
Crocus bend: pink and purple frit frit for the flower heads, approximately 12cm wide and 10cm high
Daffodil in a pot tall bend: yellow transparent frit for the flower heads, approximately 12cm wide and 14cm high
Agapanthus tall bend: blue transparent frit for the flower heads, approximately 13cm wide and 15cm high
Thistle tall bend: purple transparent frit for the flower heads, green frit for the leaves, approximately 13cm wide and 15cm high
Tulip tall bend: red frit for the flower heads, approximately 12cm wide and 14cm high
Daffodil tall bend: yellow and orange frit for the flower heads, approximately 12cm wide and 14cm high
