Beginners Workshop Voucher

Description

Our beginners workshop voucher is a great gift, and allows the recipient to book onto a beginners workshop and learn how to cut glass safely and create their own fused glass art in a relaxed environment.

An experienced tutor will introduce them to transparent, opalescent and iridescent glass, and take them through the different effects within these glass types, from sheet glass to frits, rods and stringers.

This workshop includes all materials, tools, equipment (and refreshments!) and the participant  will be given a base piece of glass 20cm x 20cm which can be used to either cut up into light catchers, coasters, decorations and tiles.

The work of art will then be fired and available for collection approximately 7 days after the course.

The workshops lasts approx. 3 hours, and the voucher allows them to book onto a beginners workshop which are listed on our website. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults are welcome to book themselves a space and take part.

Please note that anyone attending a workshop must wear closed toed shoes and safety glasses will be required to be worn.

This workshop takes place in our studio in Sandridge, St Albans, Herts.

Once a voucher has been purchased then please get in contact for either a voucher (if you are giving this as a gift) or to arrange the date of your workshop. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
