Introduction Workshop Voucher

Description

Our introduction to fused glass workshop voucher is a great gift for a child or adult, and allows the recipient to booking onto a mini workshop and learn how to cut glass safely and create their work fused glass art in a relaxed environment.

An experienced tutor will introduce them to transparent, opalescent and iridescent glass, and take them through the different effects within these glass types, from sheet glass to frits, rods and stringers.

This workshop includes all materials, tools, equipment (and refreshments!) and the participant  will be given the choice to design and assemble a hanging light catcher, or a coaster or a tea light holder.Their work of art will then be fired and available for collection approximately 7 days after the course.

The workshops lasts approx. 90 mins, and are suitable for 7 years and over.

Please note that anyone attending a workshop must wear closed toed shoes and safety glasses will be required to be worn.

This workshop takes place in our studio in Sandridge, St Albans, Herts.
